Art & Illustration

My background is in art—I have a BFA from the University of Calgary, and an MA from California State University, Chico. I’ve worked in many media from Oil & Acrylic to Pen & ink and watercolour. I have an enormous collection—this is but a small sample, and features some of my favourite styles and collections. Pen & ink drawings of architecture are the almost the most zen thing I draw—that spot is reserved for my Universal Landscapes: watercolours of stones. The blind contour drawings featuring realisitic acrylic paintings of TVs were from my Master’s Thesis Exhibition.

So, in addition to the design work I do on the computer, I’m still very handy with my hands and a brush or pencil, and often find ways to incorporate traditional art materials into my design work.
