Vancouver 2010

I worked for the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games (VANOC) for almost 5 years. I started as a designer on the 4-person Brand & Creative Services team, working on a variety of projects from printed marketing collateral, to swag, to merchandise design for Official Licensees. The culmination of my time with Brand & Creative was the collaborative development of the Look of the Games System—which eventually visually branded the games and all things associated with Vancouver 2010.

I spent the second half of my time at VANOC as Manager, Look Graphic Design, co-leading a team of designers on creating the strategy and system for applying the Look of the Games across all Venues—both competition and non-competition. The Look of the Games team was responsible for designing, producing, and installing The Look at City Venues, Mountain Venues, and throughout the host cities thru applications such as from Banners, Field of Play Surrounds, Grandstand Wraps, Athlete Bibs, Start Houses, Towers, to name a few.
